Original air date: September 5, 2016

Host Taylor Weech shares interviews with local activists standing up on their own and in solidarity against the environmental destruction of the fossil fuel industry. The show opens with Margie Heller, one of the three Raging Grannies arrested in Spokane, WA on Aug. 31, 2016 for trespassing and blocking two coal/oil trains on the tracks, and includes short interviews with supporters who were on the scene at the action.

Later in the hour, she talks by phone with local activists Taylor Birdtail and Randy Ramos as they drive back from the Standing Rock reservation where thousands of protestors have gathered, from hundreds of tribes, to stop the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. The final portion of the show is spent talking with Jacob Johns, a local activist still at the camp who took part in a protest Saturday at which peaceful protestors were attacked with dogs, mace, and other means.
