Erika Prins-Simonds is a writer, marketing/communications specialist, board member at River City Youth Ops (www.youthops.org), and mom to a 16-month old.
Discussion includes the activist roots of Mother’s Day, a couple of organizer moms we each admire, the gendered expectations of motherhood and how those might shift, myths about moms, how to talk to the children in our lives about tough issues, and much more!
