This season, I’m transcribing every episode. Partially, this is to be inclusive and accessible and to share these interviews across media. It also serves to make my editing flow easier, especially for episodes that feature two different people’s two separate interviews (like Ep. 2 and Ep. 4, so far). I start with the transcripts to edit, instead of the audio as I did in the past.
I’m mostly sharing this so that you know what my voice sounds like at 70%.
I’d also love to hear from anyone else who does their own transcription about your process. Mine is janky–as you can see–but it’s working for me and I can get them done pretty fast.
