An Update on Lack of Updates

You can look at my most recent post, which is a bit different than the others, mostly because this has been a very different type of experience. The lack of updates the last few days has been due to an especially grueling schedule outside of reliable internet and with lots of sleep deprivation (in a good way).

The short version is, we left our hotel in Jerusalem, to which we’ve now returned to the cozy lobby writing spot with beer or coffee depending upon the writer, and headed to three nights away in three very different places, all Palestinian stories in different tunes.

First, Nazareth, where we stayed in the incredibly beautiful St. Margaret’s Hostel, then the Tent of Nations outside of Bethlehem, then the village of Bil’in, with friends and family of the filmmaker of “5 Broken Cameras”. All were incredible and diverse experiences, which will receive their own detailed stories in time. I am back-dating posts so they can be read in the order experienced and for my own organizational sanity when I return.

I also podcast an interview with two fellow delegates, which you can find on Podomatic. There is so much more content coming and I am so excited to comb through it and hopefully create something compelling for others to share.
